Our production facility is not certified as Kosher.

We use porkskin gelatin.

We do not currently offer tours of our production facility in Chattanooga, TN. You can see how MoonPies are made on our video at one of the MoonPie General Stores.

MoonPies are manufactured on equipment that processes products containing tree nuts and eggs. The allergens that are common to all products produced by the bakery include wheat and soy. There are no milk allergens present that could come into contact with the equipment. We also do not use peanuts in our process.

The equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between production runs. Cleaning effectiveness is verified through the use of allergen testing swabs.
